The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially announced that the result of its matriculation examinations held in February 2022, today. The BSEB matric result 2022 will available to the students 12:30 pm onward, today on April 26, 2022, the official notification states. Anand Kishore, BSEB Chairman formally informed the media of the result declaration date and time yesterday. The results would be announced by the state’s education minister Krishna Nandan Prasad Verma even though the board’s unlikely to hold a press brief this year. Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), governing body for secondary and higher secondary education in Bihar, had conducted the matriculation i.e., 10th standard examinations from February 17-24, 2022. According to the officials, a total of 15.29 lakh students had appeared for the 10th standard examinations held this year as compared to the 16 lakh from previous year.

  • The students should visit the websites- www.biharboardonline.com and www.onlinebseb.in after 12:30 pm and search their matric results entering name, roll number or school code.
  • Students can also check the BSEB matric result 2022 on mobile phones via SMS. For this, type “BSEB<Space>Roll Number” and send it to 56263. Your will receive the marks through text message within minutes.

Passing criteria:

The Bihar School Examination Board has adopted the grace marks policy this year.

  • The students need to obtain at least 30 marks in each subject, and a total of 150 marks to pass the matric examinations.
  • Only English and optional subject would not be considered for passing criteria. Its compulsory to pass all other subjects to be termed “Passed”.
  • The grace marks will be given to the student if he/she fails in 1 subject with 8% or less marks, or failed in 2 subjects with 4% or less in each of the both subjects.
  • First division requirement- 223-300 marks
  • Second division- equal or less than 225 marks
